God knew in order for His church to be complete and serve the people, we would need all of these roles to be fulfilled. It has also been my observation as a marketplace leader that there are direct parallels for a business to be successful. Here are my comparisons:

Teacher - Trainer, someone who really has a heart for bettering people’s level of knowledge in what they do.

Pastor - the business operator, takes care of the employees and treats them like family

Evangelist - salesperson; I know some might not like this analogy, but no business survives without sales and these people are crucial to a business success.

Prophet - Someone who see the trends in the marketplace as well as the inventors and developers of new products.

Apostle - the entrepreneur; basic different between a business owner and entrepreneur is that they oversee multiple operations, like an apostle would oversee multiple ministries.

I hope this encourages you and helps clarify your plans for success either in the ministry or marketplace leader.
