About CCAL
The Canadian Coalition of Apostolic Leaders has emerged from the International Coalition of Apostolic Leaders (ICAL) which was conceived in Singapore in 1999 by a group of apostolic leaders that discussed how God could use the combined efforts of global apostolic leadership to advance the Kingdom of God more rapidly and effectively.
CCAL was formed to connect the wisdom and resources of it’s members so that each member can function more strategically, combine their efforts nationally, and effectively accelerate the advancement of the Kingdom of God into every sphere of Canadian society.
MISSION OF CCAL
The Mission of CCAL is to build a coalition of missionally minded professional leaders with the view to bringing spiritual and moral influence to the Nation of Canada.
STRUCTURE OF CCAL
We are primarily a professional society in which legitimate apostolic leaders are able to relate and connect with each other. It is secondarily a training ground for “emerging” apostolic leaders.
We introduce creative strategies apostolic leaders can utilize in order to fulfill Jesus’ great commission and mandates.
We believe that autonomy is important for members of differing apostolic networks and business leaders. Leaders of networks and or associations often have few mechanisms designed to fulfill their need to connect and relate with their peers horizontally. CCAL provides this important venue of opportunity.
That being said, our gatherings promote a structure of meaningful peer-level relationships amongst apostolic leaders, representing the church in all its faith based forms. We believe it is essential for us to build relationships, and exchange wisdom, knowledge, skills, and resources we also utilize available technology: Internet, blogs, online videos, etc., to facilitate written communication and live interaction among leaders and their networks.
Our members are committed to maintaining the highest possible levels of integrity regarding personal character and operational methodology among its members. The CCAL Council gives oversight and enforces the code of Biblical conduct required of each member to insure the standards of CCAL and maintain unity among the leaders. (Psalm 133:1, Eph.4:3).
